In 1939 government support together with the funding the still young Windmill Society restored the mill to its former glory. The mill was looking as good as ever. On October 3, 1620, Jan Janszoon got permission to use the wind for three pounds a year with a sawmill. Later it appeared from the construction that the type of mill was wrongly mentioned in the official act. Het_Pink was originally an oil mill. When Jansz sold part of the mill 18 years later, it turned out that he was indeed used as an oil mill. And it has remained so to this day.
