This windmill dates from 1693. It was partially dismantled in 1935. Its remnants were purchased in 1973 by the Society who restored the mill to its former glory over the next five years and constructed it as an oil mill. The_Bonte_Hen (The Brown Chicken) was re-equipped with a pair of runner stones and stone stoves. The mill is in perfect working order and is in regular use today. In the barn you see "Masters in the Mills", a permanent exhibition with an overview of famous paintings where the windmills play a leading role.
